What You Get for Free
With a free HiveBloom account, you can manage up to 2 hives with full access to inspection logging. Record what you see in the hive, track conditions over time, and build a history you can actually learn from. That covers a lot of beekeepers, especially those just getting started or keeping bees as a hobby.
Why We Made This Change
We used to offer a 30-day free trial before requiring a subscription. That worked, but it created pressure to decide before you’d really gotten to know the app. Beekeeping is seasonal. Thirty days in January doesn’t tell you much about whether an app works for your spring buildup or fall harvest.
Removing that clock lets you use HiveBloom at your own pace. If two hives is all you need, you never have to pay anything.

If you outgrow 2 hives or want access to everything HiveBloom offers, the subscription is $17.99 per year. That’s less than $1.50 a month, and you can try it free for 30 days. Here’s what it unlocks:
