HiveBloom supports NFC tag writing and reading to help you quickly identify hives using the app. To use NFC tags, you must have a NFC tag capable of NDEF formatting. Most NFC tags support this.
Make sure you have a NFC capable phone and that NFC is enabled.
To read a NFC tag, simply hold your phone up to the tag.
Open HiveBloom and select the NFC tag button on the home screen in the top right corner.
You can invite other beekeepers to view and help manage your apiaries.
When they tap the link, your apiary will appear in their app automatically and they’ll have full access to add and edit hives and inspections.
Yes. HiveBloom works fully offline so you can record inspections out in the field without cell service.
Any changes you make while offline are saved locally and automatically synced to the cloud when you reconnect. If you share an apiary with other users, they will see your updates once syncing completes.
HiveBloom offers a free 30-day trial with full access to every feature, including unlimited hives and apiaries, shared apiaries, cloud sync, NFC/QR support, and notifications.
The trial is part of the subscription — if you don’t cancel before the 30 days are up, it automatically converts to a paid subscription. You can cancel anytime through the App Store or Google Play.
Keeping consistent mite count records helps you spot trends and decide when treatments are needed.
You can export your inspection data as a CSV file directly from the app.
Your HiveBloom subscription will automatically renew until it is canceled.
